Austria: Manufactured at Glock’s original factory in Deutsch-Wagram, Austria.
USA: Manufactured at Glock’s facility in Smyrna, Georgia, mainly to supply the U.S. civilian and law-enforcement market.

The most visible difference between the two versions is the engraving on the slide.
Austrian models: usually marked “Made in Austria” or simply “Austria”.

Austrian Glocks: include European proof marks applied by the Austrian proof house under CIP regulations.
