DESCRIPTION

The upgrading of the R-60 BM guided missile to the R-60 BML and R-60 BMT MALANKA levels implies improving the combat capabilities of the missile by replacing the infrared homing head with a thermal imaging homing head with increased targeting angles, installing a semi-active laser homing head, and also increasing the fuse resistance to electronic interference and the use of a more advanced automatic flight control system.
The new dual-band homing head increases the missile’s capabilities for the effective destruction of small-size aircrafts, as well as low-contrast in the thermal range light-armored ground targets. The missile upgrading preserves the structural, technological and aeroballistics characteristics as much as possible.
The MALANKA missile can be installed both on standard aviation launchers and placed in transport and launch containers when used on anti-aircraft missile systems.

The  R-60BM  homing  missile  is  an  upgrade  of  the  R-60 (R-60M) air-to-air missile and involves the R-60-NT-T version.  

The missile is equipped with the infrared seeker.

The R-60-NT-T missile with an infrared seeker is designed to hit low-temperature (low-contrast) targets.  

It is supposed to  engage  mainly  air  targets.  However,  due  to  the  use  of advanced  hardware  components  and  modern  signal  
processing algorithms, this type of missiles can also hit ground targets.

Guided artillery projectile of increased accuracy
KRASNOPOL
DESCRIPTION

Artillery high-precision projectiles are used in regular artillery systems caliber 152 (155) mm. Unlike conventional ammunition, high-precision projectile allows:

- hit a selected target with one shot
- hit moving targets
- to fire from the closed position without preliminary shot

The projectile is guided along the reflected beam of the laser target designator.

The target can be pointed both from the ground and from aircraft, including unmanned vehicles.

The adjusting devices allows quickly select operating frequency, which provides simultaneously hitting several selected targets.

The guided artillery projectile “Krasnopol” was upgraded in accordance with modern operation requirements.

The upgrade has expanded the sets of control codes with the feature of natural frequencies programming in order to provide greater protection against control interception; the design of the projectile was changed as well that made it compatible with autoloader.

The upgrade allowed setting up a repair and maintenance section for technological work on components of the projectile.

The R-60BM homing missile is an upgrade of the R-60 (R-60M) air-to-air missile and involves the R-60-NT-L ver­sion. The missile is equipped with the semi-active laser seeker.
The R-60-NT-L missile is designed to hit targets marked by a laser designator. It is supposed to engage mainly the ground targets using the artillery laser designators-rangefinders.

The main features of the missile are:

- wide instantaneous field of view ±15°
- automatic search and in-flight target lock-on when the missile is launched into homing area;
- automatic in-flight re-targeting of the missile from one target to another;
- quick changing of the illumination frequency codes;
