Gaston Glock began his professional journey with polymers and metals in 1963, just outside of Vienna. In 1981, GLOCK Ges.m.b.H was founded, and a profound series of engineering feats were on their way to being realized - accomplishments that would ultimately lead to the G17 and the redefinition of the modern pistol. Mr. Glock established the United States subsidiary, GLOCK, Inc., in 1986 and his pistols have become the sidearm of choice for over 65% of the law enforcement agencies across the country.

The National Shooting Sports Foundation holds the largest firearms industry trade show in the U.S.

The SHOT Show brings tens of thousands of firearms dealers and distributors together under one roof to see, review, and test the products that consumers demand.

The PERFECTION program is limited to 125 dealers per year that are selected by our sales managers. The National Shooting Sports Foundation is the trade association for America's firearms industry. Its mission is to promote, protect and preserve hunting and the shooting sports. Formed in 1961, the NSSF has a membership of more than 12,000 manufacturers, distributors, firearms retailers, shooting ranges, sportsmen's organizations and publishers. The NSSF serves as the unified voice of the firearms industry, representing its members in Washington, D.C., and state capitols -- as well as in the media. Also, the NSSF is the premiere source for research that drives the firearms industry. The association's SHOT Show (the Shooting, Hunting and Outdoor Trade Show) is one of the nation's largest annual trade shows, attracting more than 62,000 industry professionals from 50 states and more than 100 countries.

In appreciation of their efforts, GLOCK donated a 30th Anniversary G17 Gen4 to the NSSF in March. The pistol is on display in the lobby of the NSSF in Connecticut.
The Saint Paul Police Department was one of the first major policing agencies in the USA to purchase GLOCK agency-wide and has been the service pistol of choice since 1986. The SPPD was founded in 1854 in the hamlet of Saint Paul, the capital of the Minnesota Territory. Today, there are 615 sworn officers with the department, which is nationally recognized for community policing, and exceptional Canine Unit and serving the city’s nearly 300,000 residents with pride and professionalism.

The SPPD’s commitment to service has had an important impact on the heritage of GLOCK in the USA. A personalized 30th Anniversary pistol was presented to the department in April.
Shoot Like A Girl is dedicated to growing the number of women who participate in shooting sports by empowering them with confidence. GLOCK was one of the first industry manufacturers to support Shoot Like A Girl, which has enabled thousands of women the opportunity to shoot a firearm. GLOCK has contributed to the tremendous success of growing the number of women shooters, with 7 out of 10 women who shoot with Shoot Like A Girl committing to purchasing a pistol.

Shoot Like A Girl will hold a charity auction for the 30th Anniversary G17 at the 2016 RMEF Hunter & Outdoor Christmas Expo.

The National Rifle Association of America (NRA), founded in 1871, was built on the foundation of firearms training and marksmanship. Its goal was to provide a platform for marksman to sharpen and improve their firearms skills. Since then, the NRA has evolved into a much more diverse organization - from its wide-range of educational programs to being the leading organization defending our Second Amendment rights.
In upholding the core values of the NRA, GLOCK continues to strongly support the NRA and its programs. Each year, GLOCK donates 30 pistols to the NRA National Police Shooting Championships, and generously supports the NRA Law Enforcement division for training and certifying law enforcement firearm instructors. GLOCK’s contributions also support the NRA Whittington Center in Raton, New Mexico. This premiere hunting, shooting and outdoor recreational facility hosts the NRA Whittington Center Adventure Camp, where youth are introduced to the shooting sports, and taught basic survival skills.
With a generous contribution of over $750,000 to date, GLOCK is committed to working with the NRA to help ensure the shooting sports will continue to grow and thrive.
The Special Operations Warrior Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that provides support and assistance to the families of fallen and wounded Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps Special Operations Forces. Started in 1980, the foundation provides three primary programs: college educations for the surviving children, grief and academic counseling (including private tutoring), and immediate financial stipends to the families of wounded special operators.

GLOCK's support to the foundation over the past 10 years has allowed SOWF to ensure the each and every child of a fallen special operations warrior can fulfill their dream of a college education.

Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.) is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization founded in 1984. C.O.P.S. mission of rebuilding shattered lives of survivors and co-workers affected by line-of-duty deaths through partnerships with law enforcement and the community has helped thousands of survivors nationwide.

The generosity of companies, such as GLOCK, furthers the C.O.P.S. mission to provide healing programs and emotional support needed by survivors who have been devastated by the death of their law enforcement officer. Survivors are never charged for any of C.O.P.S. programs.

GLOCK is honored to donate a 30th Anniversary G17 Gen4 to the Concerns of Police Survivors. C.O.P.S. raffled the commemorative pistol during their National Conference on Officer Wellness and Trauma.
The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund is currently building the National Law Enforcement Museum in Washington, DC. In 2011, GLOCK made a decision to support the law enforcement community by making a $2 million commitment to sponsor the National Law Enforcement Museum’s History Beat.

This gift will ensure that the story of American law enforcement is told for generations to come, including how GLOCK became the law enforcement practitioner's sidearm of choice.

Honored American Veterans Afield (HAVA) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization formed by companies in the shooting and outdoor industry with the purpose of raising awareness and further assisting disabled veterans and wounded active duty military with their healing process through hunts, shooting sports and other active outdoor activities.

Honored American Veterans Afield raffled a 30th Anniversary G17 Gen4 at their Family Day event in San Antonio on October 22nd.
GunnyTime with R. Lee Ermey is a television series focusing on weapons and weapons technology past, present and future. “The Gunny”, R. Lee Ermey, gets a chance to scratch his itchy trigger-finger as he plays with fabulous weapons and consults with top-notch experts. As only The Gunny can do, he shows his audience the way in his famous indomitable style when it comes to the world’s most marvelous weaponry.

GLOCK has been proud to have The Gunny serve as an ambassador for our products and our company over the past 12 years.

With GLOCK's generous help, the Special Operations Care Fund (SOC-F) has been able to support the Special Operations Forces community with a Gold Star Kids Camp for those children whose father paid the ultimate price for our country & way of life, therapy for Traumatic Brain Injury & PTSD, a marriage counseling program, emergency care & treatment for families in desperate need, and education funding for SOF Families. SOC-F is a 501(c)(3), all volunteer run, SOF oriented charitable organization, with zero overhead, salaries, or payroll.

SOC-F auctioned the 30th Anniversary GLOCK pistol at an invitational this past May.

The Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) is a not-for-profit organization created by Congressional mandate in 1903, originally as the National Board for the Promotion of Rifle Practice.

Facilitated by the U.S. Army, the board was created to promote firearms safety and marksmanship training and to hold annual national trophy pistol and rifle matches each year, the National Matches.

Privatized in 1996, the CMP continued its original mission and expanded its scope to emphasize youth marksmanship. GLOCK is the largest commercial sponsor of the new 500-acre CMP Talladega Marksmanship Park in Alabama.

The mission of the Scholastic Shooting Sports Foundation is youth development. SSSF programs provide students with a supportive environment where shooting sports serve as catalysts for teaching life lessons and skills that emphasize teamwork, positive character traits and citizenship values. The Scholastic Shooting Sports Foundation (SSSF) is responsible for all aspects of the Scholastic Action Shooting Program (SASP) and the Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP). Through our programs youth athletes, led by trained adult coaches, are provided a safe and structured introduction to the action shooting and clay target sports and given the opportunity to participate and compete at the local, state and national levels.

GLOCK is an original supporter of the Action Shooting element, continues to annually donate to the foundation, and serves on the executive board. The 30th Anniversary G17 was raffled by SSSF at the Scholastic Action Shooting Program National Championship on July 15.
Since 2013, over 100,000 enthusiasts have joined GLOCK’s online social community of law enforcement, military, competition and all around enthusiasts.

Answering questions and helping each other improve their knowledge is what GLOCK ID members do best. GID is more than just a community; it's a training tool and a rewards program to earn great incentives from GLOCK.

The Cody Firearms Museum is one of five major museums and a research library at the Buffalo Bill Center of the West in Cody, WY.

The museum houses almost 7,000 historically significant firearms and more than 20,000 firearm-related artifacts.

The collection is encyclopedic with firearms on an international scale, ranging from 1425 to modern day.

The museum proudly opened a GLOCK Exhibition in the Spring of 2016. In honor of the 30th anniversary, GLOCK donated the commemorative pistol to be displayed in the new exhibition.

The Young Marines is the leader in Drug Demand Reduction education and has set new standards for recognizing the contributions of America’s veterans.

Since 1950, the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) has worked to support all aspects of national security while advancing the interests of America's Army and the men and women who serve. AUSA is a private, non-profit educational organization that supports America's Army - Active, National Guard, Reserve, Civilians, Retirees, Government Civilians, Wounded Warriors, Veterans, and family members.

AUSA provides numerous Professional Development Opportunities at a variety of events both local and national.

GLOCK donated a 30th Anniversary G17 Gen4 to the Association of the United States Army at their annual event in Washington, DC.
In 1984, the United States Practical Shooting Association (USPSA) was incorporated to serve as the US Region of the International Practical Shooting Confederation. Since then, USPSA has become the governing body of practical shooting in the United States, as well as Steel Challenge around the world.

Fifteen years ago, USPSA introduced the Production Division, providing a competitive arena for pistols designed for carry.

The GLOCK line of pistols has dominated this division and is one of the most used pistols in the class.

Amateur and Master class shooters compete separately with 10 Divisions offered at outdoor matches.

GLOCK’s elite team of shooting professionals competes against the-best-of-the-best in the United States, and around the world. In Team GLOCK’s 13th year, the roster includes former US Army Marksmanship Team Captain Shane Coley along with Ladies Champions Tori Nonaka and Michelle Viscusi.

In 2016, the team is supporting wheelchair athlete Jim Kuzak in a series of competitions. This commitment is a tribute to the indomitable spirit of those who choose to push the limits of their abilities.
